Dear All,

The Olympic Trials for weightlifting will be hold at Hawthorn on the 7th June (next Saturday) starting at 2:30pm. Please refer to attached poster for further information.

Come and cheers for the strongest team in Australia!

What's your contact email or number? Can you email me at ziran.guo@hotmail.com ? I'm thinking about getting back to wushu to stretch my old legs and catch up with some of the old guys like Nathan etc all of whom I have lost contact with due to loss of mobile phone on more than one occassion.

Thank you for your supports. I had a great competition on Saturday. There were plenty of cheering from family & friends. For those who turned up and watch the competition, I hope you have enjoyed the competition as much as I did.

 

For those whom couldn’t make it on the day, I am please to let you know that I am very happy with my performance on the day. I managed to set 2 new Australian records, one in the “Clean & Jerk” and one in the “Total”. Unfortunately, there is only one Olympic spot for the whole of the 7 bodyweight categories; I have only been name as a reserve. However, considering I have only been doing the sport for 2 years, I couldn’t be happier with the result.

 

Hopefully, I will make enough improvements in the next 2 years time to go for a Gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Game =)
