Beginners Course Starts Mon 8th March!

While Semester 1 training starts March 1st, our official beginners couse starts one week after, March 8th 7:30pm, Hockey Pavillion (Hockey Court). Here you'll get extra training on basic techniques, stances and drills. Of course if you can't wait, you could always just come down to main classes, as classes are already running! (First two weeks of March are free btw!)
 
O-Week!

As indicated in the calendar, O-Week is upon us and we're having a table set up on all four days - Tues 23, Wed 24, Thu 25 Feb and Tue 2nd March, 11am - 3pm. The table is D19, towards the Building 26 - 63 overpass. Demonstrations are on Tuesday and Wednesday around 11am at the stage, close to the Campus Centre entrance.

A $5 signup will get you a goodies showbag including a limited edition Monash Wushu USB stick! ZOMG!

 
1000 Steps & Picnic

January's social event. The 1000 steps is popular for fitness and works your cardio, quads, and calves. We'll meet at the base of the steps in the carpark, and return for a picnic/bbq in the leisure area.

Make sure you wear runners or cross trainers, and bring a drink bottle.
...and watch out for black panthers.

When: Sunday 31st January, 11:30am

Where: 1000 Steps (Kokoda Memorial Track)
Melway Ref 74 H4
Belview Tce, off Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd

Directions:
1. Just head all the way down Burwood Hwy, past Upper Ferntree Gully Station.
2. Bear left onto Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd
3. Immediately enter the service rd on the left.
4. Continue up Belview Tce to the top, where there is a carpark and picnic area.


 
Summer Semester Kicks In

(no pun intended)

We've been back at training since Monday 11th Jan and summer semester goes right through till first semester - March 1st. Now is the best time to work on a new form or refine your current one, as you would get more personal attention, rather than training as a whole group.

Remember your uniform!
